2009伊斯坦布尔双年展——艺术家名册公布

第十一届伊斯坦布尔国际双年展将于2009年9月12日开幕,“什么让人类依然活着”的主题取自德国剧作家贝尔托·布莱希特(Bertolt Brecht)与伊丽莎白·霍普曼(Elisabeth Hauptmann)、科特·威尔(Kurt Weill)合作著写于1928年的歌剧《三便士》中的经典台词“’Denn wovon lebt der Mensch?”

 

歌剧《三便士》深入剖析了资产阶级社会中所有权重新分配的过程,并愤然剪开了包裹着资本主义意识形态丑恶的灰暗老茧。布莱希特在剧作中流芳百世的断言“罪恶即资产阶级,资产阶级即罪恶”貌似永久举着真理的火炬,奏响了1928年建立在迄今存在的社会合意之上的快速发展的自由经济的分崩瓦解的交响曲,时至今日仍然绕梁三日。

 

当然,此次双年展取此题目并非试图重回布莱希特的经典并对其再度挖掘以教育年轻一代,而是作为一面反射隐藏在当今社会深处的过往阴影之光的镜子,借以照亮艺术如何反省陈旧思想、开创社会契约与审美态度之间新联系的探索之路。
