顾灵近期获选为2022-2023首届德英策展学者。她自2015年起任深圳设计互联与海上世界文化艺术中心品牌总监,拥有逾十年文化艺术传播与管理专业经验,曾任上海外滩美术馆营销发展总监、英国领事馆文化教育处中国数字艺术主管。

顾灵曾为上海西岸艺术与设计博览会、香港巴塞尔艺术博览会、上海设计周、深圳设计周以及国内外多家组织和机构策划与主持过多次文化活动。这也为她带来了和多个重要合作伙伴共同开发跨文化项目的机会,其中包括英国V&A博物馆与设计互联联合主办的V&A展馆、荷兰文化馆、Hugo Boss亚洲新锐艺术大奖、贾曼奖 (Jarman Award) 中国巡展、UKNOW.org.cn与2015中英文化交流年,以及设计互联主办的包括《源于自然的时尚》和《不完美·加埃塔诺·佩谢》等重要展览的内容传播。

顾灵在其职业生涯中也是一位活跃的写作者、翻译和编辑,经常为国内外艺术刊物与大众媒体的艺术栏目撰稿,曾任《燃点》编辑。2013年,她译著了《策展的挑战:侯瀚如与小汉斯的通信》;2015年,她编辑了由荷兰Van Abbe博物馆资助的出版物《一人,一村,一馆》(即艺术家李牧的仇庄计划);2017年,她的编辑方案《久视不识》获杂志《艺术世界》“长读”特刊奖并得以出版。她还是「一叶障目」读书播客的主播。

Ling Gu is a De Ying Curatorial Fellow. Ling had been the Head of Communications at the Design Society, Shenzhen, since 2015. Ling has over ten years’ of working experience in the field of culture and arts communication and management, honed through roles at Rockbund Art Museum, Shanghai, where she was Marketing and Communication Director, as head of digital arts at the British Council, China, and, most recently, at the Design Society. In the course of these roles, she organized cultural events and forums on behalf of West Bund (Shanghai), Art Basel (Hong Kong, OCAT (Shenzhen), and the Design Weeks in Shanghai and Shenzhen. This has also led to several opportunities for developing cross-cultural projects with partners, including the Dutch Culture Center, Shanghai; Hugo Boss Asia Art, Jarman Award Screening Tour in China, UKNOW.org.cn, 2015 UK-China Year of Cultural Exchange, and the V&A Gallery.   

Ling Gu is also an active writer, translator, and editor, and throughout her career has been a regular contributor to multiple domestic and international art publications. She was the translator for the book Curatorial Challenges – Correspondence between Hou Hanru and Hans Ulrich Obrist (2013) among others; and served as the editor for the independent publication of artist Li Mu’s project papers titled A Man, A Village, A Museum (2015), and “Semantic Satiation”, a special issue of the Shanghai-based magazine Art World (2017).
